The Mitutoyo digital QuantuMike utilizes a courser spindle thread which feeds the spindle by 2mm per revolution of the thimble instead of the standard 0.5mm. The coolant-proof micrometer’s ratchet thimble mechanism provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements.

• A highly rigid frame and high-performance constant-force mechanism* enable more stable measurements, while the clicks emitted when the work piece is being measured assure the operator that measurement is proceeding normally
• Carbide tips resists wear on the measuring faces for accurate measurements for an extended period of time
• Built-in “Hold” function freezes the displayed value, enabling the micrometer to be removed from a workpiece for better viewing when the readout is not easily visible
• Functions include Origin Set, Zero/ABS, Hold, Function Lock, Auto Power On/Off, and inch/mm conversion (on inch/metric models only)
• Alarm: Low Voltage, Counting Value Composition Error
